Moncton Wildcats News Release
Moncton, NB - The Moncton Wildcats were back at home after a seventeen day layoff away from the Moncton Coliseum. The Cats were able to extend their streak to 4 games after beating the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 3-1!
Goal came from Ryan Penny, Devon MacAusland and Patrick Delisle-Houde, all in the second period. Bathurst replied with one in the third. A Bathurst goal was called back due to Jordan Murray getting a five minute major and game misconduct for a hit to the head.
Tonight's attendance was 4472 and the 50/50 pot was $6,030. Shots on goal were 35-31 in favor of Bathurst. Moncton was 1/4 on the PP while the Titan were 1/5. Three stars were:
1. MON - 21 Alex Saulnier
2. MON - 29 Roman Will
3. BAT - 58 Sébastien Trudeau
The Wildcats are back in action tomorrow Saturday February 18th vs. the Quebec Remparts. It is Super Saturday with $125,000 in contest prizing on the line! Buy a 50/50 ticket for a chance to participate.
