Schedule Set for Final Season at Ivor Wynne Stadium

Hamilton, Ontario - The Canadian Football League has released its 2012 schedule today, revealing that the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will kick off the season and embark on their final campaign at Ivor Wynne Stadium on June 29.
The road to the 100th Grey Cup begins in Hamilton, as the Ticats host the 2012 CFL season opener at Ivor Wynne against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Friday, June 29 at 7:00pm.
The traditional Labour Day Classic matchup between the Ticats and the Toronto Argonauts returns this season with the Black and Gold hosting their arch-rivals on Monday, September 3 at 1:00pm.
The final regular season game at Ivor Wynne Stadium will take place on Saturday, October 27 at 1:00pm, when the Ticats battle the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Closing ceremonies will take place to commemorate the iconic stadium as the Ticats prepare to move into their brand new, world class facility in 2014.
The final season at Ivor Wynne Stadium will celebrate the rich history and tradition of one of the most renowned facilities in Canadian sports history and the players that helped contribute to its legend. Details concerning the celebrations will be announced as the season approaches.
