
Union begins second week in Orlando; Ends trip with match against Orlando City at Citrus Bowl

Chester, Pa. (February 13, 2012) - Philadelphia Union begin their final week in Florida today, concluding with a match against Orlando City at the Citrus Bowl on Saturday, February 18th at 7:30 p.m. The team will also scrimmage University of Central Florida on Wednesday, February 15th at 1:00 p.m.
All members of the media interested in attending the match against Orlando City are encouraged to apply for credentials through Orlando City's website http://www.orlandocitysoccer.com/stadium/press/.
Last Saturday the Union faced off against Florida Gulf Coast University in their first scrimmage of preseason, playing the squad to a 1-1 tie. Defender Carlos Valdes headed in a cross by new Costa Rican signing Porfiro Lopez in the first half.
The Union open the MLS regular season on March 12 with a nationally televised game against Portland on ESPN2 at 9:30 p.m. EST. The club returns home to face the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, March 18 at PPL Park at 4:00 p.m. EST on NBC Sports.
