Sea Dogs/Red Sox Combo Ticket Packages Go on Sale Tuesday

Portland, Maine -The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, have announced that the popular Sea Dogs/ Red Sox combo ticket packages are returning. These ticket packages include tickets to eight Portland Sea Dogs games, and a Boston Red Sox game.
The ticket packages, presented by the Amtrak Downeaster, will go on sale on Tuesday, February 7th at 9:00 AM at the Hadlock Field box office, online at www.seadogs.com, and by phone at 207-879-9500.
The Sea Dogs will have three packages to choose from in 2012. Each package features tickets to eight Sea Dogs games and one Red Sox game. All tickets to the Red Sox games are Reserved Grandstand seating. All the Sea Dogs tickets will be reserved seats either behind home plate or down the third base line.
Package #1 includes a Reserved Grandstand ticket (section 28) to the Tuesday, July 31st Red Sox game against the Detroit Tigers at 7:10 PM. It also includes the following Sea Dogs games; April 17th, May 7th, May 18th, June 5th, June 20th, July 16th, August 14th, and August 31st. The package is available for $116.00 for adults and $108.00 for kids and seniors.
Package #2 features a Reserved Grandstand ticket (section 4) ticket to the Friday, August 24th Red Sox game against the Kansas City Royals at 7:10 PM. You will also receive Sea Dogs tickets for these games; May 2nd, June 6th, June 19th, June 26th, July 12th, July 23rd, August 1st, and August 15th. The package is available for $94.00 for adults and $86.00 for kids and seniors.
Package #3 is highlighted by a Reserved Grandstand ticket (section 1) to the Tuesday, August 7th Red Sox game against the Texas Rangers at 7:10 PM. With this package you also receive tickets to the May 3rd, June 8th, June 21st, June 28th, July 17th, July 31st, and August 17th Sea Dogs' games. The package is available for $94.00 for adults and $86.00 for kids and seniors.
These packages offer Sea Dogs fans the opportunity to see both the future and current stars of the Boston Red Sox. It also allows fans the opportunity to secure Red Sox tickets where they can go to Fenway Park and follow the careers of many former Sea Dogs. Last season, 24 former Sea Dogs spent time playing for the Boston Red Sox including Daniel Bard, Josh Beckett, Clay Buchholz, Jacoby Ellsbury, Adrian Gonzalez, Jon Lester, Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youkilis.
The Sea Dogs Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sea Dogs tickets are governed by normal Sea Dog ticket policies and Red Sox tickets are subject to Red Sox ticket policies. No refunds, exchanges or substitutions will be permitted. Game times are subject to change. Tickets for these packages are extremely limited; packages will be offered for as long as supplies last.
The Sea Dogs will open the 2012 season on the road with a 4:05 PM doubleheader in Reading, Pennsylvania against the Reading Phillies. The home opener is slated for Thursday, April 12th at 6:00 PM against the Binghamton Mets at Hadlock Field. The 2012 season will be the Sea Dogs 19th year in Portland and tenth as a Boston Red Sox affiliate.
