
Plans for BMO Ultimate Fan Contest Announced

Brandon, MB. -- Attention western Manitoba hockey fans - do you have what it takes to be the Ultimate Wheat Kings' fan?
You have a chance to prove that to be true onWednesday, February 22ndat 5pm.
BMO, the Western Hockey League and the Brandon Wheat Kings are pleased to announce plans for this year's "BMO Ultimate Fan Contest". On February 22nd, fans will be asked to head down to the BMO branch on the corner of 10th Street and Rosser Avenue. It's your chance to dress up in your best Wheat Kings' gear and show exactly what makes you the biggest fan of our WHL club.
Let the face painting and sign making begin - so get creative - and who knows you could go home Brandon's Ultimate Fan! There will be pizza and autographs for everyone in attendance.
The fans with the best gear will be narrowed down to a final 3 by a panel (including a Wheat King player). Those final three fans will take part in a special Wheat Kings Trivia contest. The winner of that contest will earn the title of theBMO Ultimate Brandon Wheat Kings' Fan.
They will not only take home a team-autographed Wheat Kings' jersey, but they will also be entered to win a draw for a pair of tickets to the 2012 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Shawinigan, Quebec.
Remember to get there early to register. All contestant must be 18 years of age or older. Good luck to everyone!
On the ice, the Wheat Kings kick off a 4-game western road trip Tuesday night in Cranbrook against the defending champion Kootenay Ice. Tuesday's game will close out a home and home series between the two teams and the Wheat Kings will be looking to salvage the back half of the set after dropping a 7-3 decision at Westman Place on Saturday night.
