Toros Torch the Stampede

BOISE, Idaho - Mikki Moore had a team-high 19 points and 11 rebounds and Antoine Walker added 18 points, but the Idaho Stampede (8-13) lost to the Austin Toros 120-97, as the league-leaders improved to 17-4.

Tony Bobbitt had 15 points and Seth Tarver also finished in double-figures with 10 points, but Idaho shot just 26.3 percent from the three-point line and 64.3 percent from the free throw line, while losing the rebounding battle 35-46. Austin shot 56.6 percent from the field and made 12-of-22 threes (54.5 percent) as they led by as many as 27 and held a 60-41 advantage at the half. Seven of the eight Toros players finished in double-figures, with former University of Washington star Justin Dentmon leading the way with 22 points. Leo Lyons and Da'Sean Butler each had 18, while Lance Thomas added 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Paul Carter added nine off the bench for Idaho, while re-acquired players Kevin Galloway (8 eight points, six rebounds, five assists) and Eric Devendorf (three points, 13 minutes) each got back on the floor for the first time in weeks.

Idaho faces Austin again tomorrow night at 7 p.m. (MST) on NBA.com/futurecast.
