ALSO.a Black Hawk player has been selected by the United States Hockey League as one of their league-wide weekly award winners. More details will be announced by the league later this afternoon. I will pass those along when everything is confirmed.

Mulligan's Offensive Player of the Week - Taylor Cammarata

The top Black Hawk scorer recorded the first hat trick by a Black Hawks this season on Saturday against Sioux City. He finished two weekend games with a total of four goals and an assist.

Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week - Cal Petersen

Petersen, an affiliate goaltender, earned Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week recognition for two victories as he stopped 57 of 62 shots he faced.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker - Ryan Papa

Papa recorded five points in two games. He followed a key score during Friday's comeback with a two goal, two assist performance Saturday.

Convenient Care Heart of the Week - Mitch Witek

With two assists over the weekend, Witek continues to lead Black Hawks defensemen in points. He also was a combined +5 on the blue line during the two contests.
