
Rockets Drop First of Two in Portland

The Portland Winterhawks defeated the Kelowna Rockets 4-2 Wednesday night in Portland, snapping the Rockets three game winning streak.
Madison Bowey and newly acquired Brett Lyon scored for the Rockets in the first of two straight games in Portland. The two teams meet again Friday night.
Ty Rattie, Taylor Peters, Oliver Gabriel and Cam Reid scored the Winterhawks who were outshot by Kelowna 35-29.
The Rockets record falls to 17-20-2-3.
After Friday's game in Portland the Rockets will play Saturday in Vancouver and Sunday in Everett.
