
Wildcats Trade Gormley to Shawinigan

The Moncton Wildcats trade Brandon Gormley to the Shawinigan Cataractes for Michael Matheson (94-02-27) and SHA 5th Round 2012, LEW 5th 2012, SHA 3rd 2013, SHA 5th 2013, 1st EURO 2013, 2nd SHA 2014.
"This is a very difficult trade for our organization and for me personally but we think long term this is the best move for the Moncton Wildcats at this time" said Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Danny Flynn. "This move is in the best interest of the Wildcats long term future. We want to congratulate Gorms on a tremendous World Junior Tournament and a great career here with Moncton. We wish him the best of luck as Shawinigan prepares to host the Memorial Cup."
