
Otters Lose to Petes, 5-2

Peterborough, ON - The Erie Otters lost 5-2 to the Peterborough Petes Thursday night as Andrew Yogan scored twice against his former team to lead the way for the Petes.
The Petes were the first to get on the board with 1:24 left in the first as Steven Trojanovic scored a power play goal to give the Petes a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes of play.
Derek Holden scored 1:19 into the second against his former team to tie the game for Erie on the power play. Holden fired a shot from the far point through traffic to collect his fifth goal of the season.
Luke Cairns broke the tie for the Otters midway through the second as he banged in a rebound from a Kris Grant shot for his sixth goal of the season.
The Petes would regain the lead on a pair of goals 32 seconds apart from former Yogan and Joey West, making it a 3-2 Petes lead going into the second intermission.'
In the third period, the Petes tacked on a power play goal from J.C. Campagna and a second goal from Yogan to ice the contest.
