
Two Screaming Eagles to Play for Team Quebec

Sydney-Cape Breton Screaming Eagles defenseman Jean-Simon Deslauriers and 2011 3rd round draft pick forward Charles Guevremont have been selected to represent Quebec at the World Under 17 Hockey Championships being held in Windsor, Ontario from December 29th, 2011 through January 4th, 2012.
Deslauriers was the Screaming Eagles 1st round selection 12th overall in this past June's Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's entry draft. The 16 year-old from Trois Rivieres, Quebec has one goal with two assists and is + 3 in 10 games with the Screaming Eagles this season.
Guevremont is currently playing for his hometown midget AAA team Magog Cantonniers. In 22 games this season with Magog, Guevremont has scored seven goals and added 11 assists.
