
Frk to Miss Opening Weekend - Moose Recall 3 Players

Halifax Mooseheads News Release
Mooseheads General Manager Cam Russell announced this morning that forward Martin Frk will miss both games this weekend due to an upper body injury. The Mooseheads open the 2011-12 regular season tomorrow night in Charlottetown against the PEI Rocket, then travel to Bathurst to play the Titan on Saturday.
The Herd, who are already missing 5 players to NHL Camps and Andrew Ryan to a broken ankle, have called up Brandon Pye, Joel Blanchard and Ryan Davis for this weekend.
The Herd will return home for their 2011-12 Home Opener next Friday, September 16th when they host the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at 7pm. Tickets are on sale now at the Ticket Atlantic Box Office, select Superstore Outlets, www.ticketatlantic.com or by phone 451-1221.
