SALT LAKE CITY (May 4, 2011) - The Salt Lake Bees, Huntsman Cancer Foundation, Swing for Life and Miche Bag have teamed up to host the fifth annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night at Spring Mobile Ballpark on Saturday, May 7. The Bees will wear pink jerseys in support of Breast Cancer Awareness when the team takes on the Reno Aces in a doubleheader beginning at 5:05 p.m.

In addition, for every May 7 game ticket purchased, the Bees will donate $1 to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, while Miche Bag will match the donation up to $10,000. Special discounted tickets for $7 each are available by downloading the free voucher at slbees.com/pink. The Bees encourage fans attending the game to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a pink t-shirt.

A silent auction for the player-worn jerseys and other team memorabilia will be held during the doubleheader with proceeds benefiting HCF. Winning bidders will have the opportunity to meet Bees players on the field following the second game to take photographs and receive the player-autographed jerseys.

In partnership with Swing for Life, the Bees will also have available for purchase pink t-shirts, pink candy, and pink mini-bats with all proceeds benefiting HCF.
