
Brackins Recalled by Sixers

SPRINGFIELD, MA FEB. 7, 2011 ¬" The Philadelphia 76ers announced today that they have recalled rookie forward Craig Brackins from the Springfield Armor. Brackins was assigned to the Armor on January 15 and had previously been assigned to Springfield from Nov. 30-Dec. 12.
In 14 games (9 starts), Brackins averaged 19.9 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 37.2 minutes per game. Brackins leaves the NBA D-League with the seventh-highest scoring average of any player in the league this season.
The Armor ¬â¢s active roster now stands at 10.
Brackins will be available when the Sixers take on the Atlanta Hawks tomorrow evening. The Armor will return to action on Thursday when they host the Maine Red Claws at 7:00 p.m. at the MassMutual Center in Springfield.
