Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - For the second year in a row, a golfer has won $10,000 at the Prince Albert Raiders Golf Tournament. Today, Jerrod Pidborchynski aced the 4th hole at The Cooke Municipal Golf Course in Prince Albert to win $10,000 from Affinity Insurance Services. Also today, 18 year-old Raider defenseman Austin Bourhis struck for a hole in one on the 17th hole, however it was not a sponsored hole. Andrea Ring won $10,000 at the 2009 Raider Golf Tournament.
30 teams took part in the Raider Golf Tournament today under sunny skies, with all proceeds of the event going to the Raider Education Fund. The golf teams all had either a Raider roster player or alumni added to their team.
Alumni Bob Daniels (1971), Mel Parenteau (1971), Lester Cey (1976), Steve Tillmanns (1988-90), Curt Regnier (1988-91), Aki Seitsonen (2004-06) and Dustin Cameron (2007-10) also took part in the event as part of the Raiders 40th Anniversary celebrations.
