
Sky Guy to Take Skyline Plunge and Support Fundraiser to Fight Lung Disease

CHICAGO, September 8, 2010 - The Chicago Sky announced today that Sky Guy will participate in the Skyline Plunge! Chicago on Saturday, September 11 at theWit Hotel.
Skyline Plunge! Chicago is a unique fundraising spectacle featuring adventurous locals rappelling 27 stories down the exterior façade of theWit Hotel's signature lightning bolt to raise money to support people who are affected by lung diseases such as asthma, COPD and lung cancer.
Sky Guy will be one of several participants in the event which aims to raise more than $110,000 to fight lung disease, which affects more than 1 million people in the Chicago metropolitan area.
The event is hosted by and benefits Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago (RHAMC), the leading independent lung health non-profit organization working to promote healthy lungs and fight lung disease through research, advocacy and education.
Sky Guy will begin his descent at approximately 12:30pm Saturday afternoon at theWit Hotel, located at 201 N. State Street, at the Lake Street intersection.
