
Jammers Fall to Muckdogs in Regular Season Home Finale

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. - The Batavia Muckdogs rallied from deficits of 3-1 and 4-3 to defeat the Jammers, 10-5. The win clinched a playoff berth for the Muckdogs.
The Jammers remain 0.5 games behind Williamsport in the Wild Card race after the Crosscutters lost to Mahoning Valley.
Batavia led 1-0 just two batters into the game before the Jammers took a 3-1 lead after three innings. The Muckdogs tied the game with two in the top of the fourth before the Jammers went ahead 4-3 after five.
But the Muckdogs scored one in the sixth to tie the game, two in the seventh to take the lead and four insurance runs in the eighth. Jamestown scored one run in the bottom of the eighth.
The game featured three ejections. Batavia's pitching coach and hitting coach were thrown out for arguing calls, as well as Muckdogs outfielder Mike O'Neill. He was ejected after throwing his bat following a strikeout in the top of the 9th.
Jamestown now travels to Batavia to begin a season-ending four-game road trip. The game, which begins at 7:05 pm, can be heard live on JamestownJammers.com.
