Lancers Release 2010 Exhibition Schedule

OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce their exhibition schedule in preparation for the upcoming 2010-2011 USHL regular season. The Lancers will be skating in five preseason contests, including one in Omaha at the Tranquility IcePlex against their rivals, the Lincoln Stars, on Saturday, September 18th.
Omaha's exhibition schedule begins with a trip to Kearney, Neb. on Friday, September 10th for a preseason showdown with the Tri-City Storm. Opening faceoff at the Viaero Event Center is slated for 7:05 PM.
The Lancers then host their only exhibition contest of the Fall on Saturday, September 18th at Tranquility IcePlex against Lincoln. The Moylan Tranquility IcePlex is located at 12550 West Maple Road in Omaha. The Lancer Hockey Booster Club will be hosting a Fan Fest from 4 - 6 PM featuring an autograph session with the entire 2010-2011 Omaha Lancers team (4:15 - 5 PM) along with a cookout with dinner packages to be sold for just $3.
The exhibition game between Omaha and Lincoln is then scheduled to begin at 7:05 PM and all tickets are just $6. All tickets will be general admission and seating is limited to 1,000 patrons. Tickets will only be sold the day of the game and no advance ticket orders will be accepted. Cash payment is required for all purchases. Ticket sales will begin at 4 PM in conjunction with the Fan Fest.
The Lancers then conclude their 2010 preseason schedule with a trip to Sioux City for the USHL's annual Fall Classic. Omaha begins its week at the Fall Classic on Wednesday, September 22nd in a 2 PM clash with the expansion Dubuque Fighting Saints at the IBP Ice Center. The Lancers are back in action the following day when they take on Team USA (USNTDP) at the Tyson Events Center's Gateway Arena at 7 PM. Omaha's participation in the 2010 Fall Classic concludes Saturday, September 24th as they battle the host-city Musketeers at 7 PM inside the Tyson Events Center.
