DANVILLE, Va. - The Atlanta Braves are set to host their annual tryout at American legion Post 325 Field on Monday, August 9th. The session begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. and is open to anyone - preferably those between the ages of 16-22 years old. Registration will be on site and we be required for participants.

The Braves hold this tryout every year at Dan Daniel Memorial Park as a way to scout out the best local, and surrounding-area talent. It is also a chance for the best up-and-coming players to showcase their abilities in front of the Atlanta organization's scouts.

Participants are required to bring their own equipment, including cleats, gloves and uniform. Any other necessary equipment will be provided by the Braves. Also, any individuals playing American Legion baseball must receive permission from their coach before attending the event.

For more information, including further details about registration and the tryout itself, please contact the Danville Braves at (434) 797-3792, or by e-mail at info@dbraves.com.
