11 Beef Players Invited to UFL's Nighthawks Mini-Camp

OMAHA, NE: The Omaha Beef of the Indoor Football League (IFL) are proud to announce 11 of their 2010 roster players had been invited recently to the Mini-Camp for the Professional United Football League (UFL) Omaha Nighthawks.

Head Coach Pat Pimmel relives the path to this point for these players. "We search long and hard to fill positions on the team with a potential NFL quality players and feel our time and effort resulted in the top players throughout the country. Our main goal is to find the best player with some that have been overlooked and show off their talents so they will stand out to be noticed by scouts to exceed to the next level. I feel very proud to be a part of these players aspirations to move up the ranks."

The Omaha Nighthawks have embraced the IFL Beef team as a go-to team to recruit high profile and talented athletes. Often they were in attendance to the games strategically witnessing potential players for their roster.

Of the 25 teams in the IFL, the Omaha Beef team has more than doubled the rest of leagues' players moving up to the UFL's mini camp.

Owner Jeff Sprowls expects nothing less from Beef players. "It is our job and responsibility to coach these players up to the next level period. The UFL and Nighthawks have been a great asset for the IFL and the Beef."

The Beef reached the playoffs again for 11th straight year.
