Spikes Launch Nittany Bank Nookie Monster for a Day Contest

STATE COLLEGE - The State College Spikes and Nittany Bank have launched a fun contest that will give fans the opportunity to audition for the right to perform as the Nittany Bank Nookie Monster during the Spikes game on Saturday, August 28th

The "Nittany Bank Nookie Monster For a Day Contest" will begin with a preliminary stage where fans will be asked to upload their own 30-second dance or skit to a designated page on YouTube by August 9th.

Three finalists will then be chosen from all entrants from the Preliminary Round and invited to the August 20th Spikes game for a pre-game "dance off". The winner will be crowned "Nookie Monster For a Day" and perform the role of the Nittany Bank Nookie Monster on August 28th.

The Nittany Bank Nookie Monster celebrates every Spikes run by coming out of his Nittany Bank Nook in left-center field and peforming a dance. In addition, the Nookie Monster roams the concourse before and after the game to greet Spikes fans

Contest Entry Details

- Record a 30-second dance video that mimics the Nittany Bank Nookie Monster's celebratory dance after the Spikes score a run

- Go to YouTube and type "Nittany Bank Nookie Monster" in the search bar and post your video as a response to the contest promotional video.

- The deadline to post your video is August 9th

- 3 finalists will be chosen to compete in front of a live crowd during a pre-game showdown at the Spikes game on August 20th. A panel of judges will choose one Grand Prize winner who will receive the opportunity to perform as the Nittany Bank Nookie Monster at the Spikes game on August 28th.

Contest Rules

- Must be 16 years of age or older to participate.

- All clips must be posted by 5 p.m. on August 9th.

- The 3 finalists will be chosen and contacted by Aug. 13. The Grand Prize winner will be given detailed instructions prior to August 28th.
