
Hamilton Remains Chairman of WHL Board

Kelowna Rockets president and general manager Bruce Hamilton will remain in his position as WHL Chairman of the Board for another term.
Hamilton was re-elected as the WHL Chairman of the Board for another two year period at the WHL Annual General Meeting,held on June 15th and 16th at the Calgary Marriott Hotel.
The WHL Board of Governors consists of the owner/representative of the 22 WHL Member franchises. The WHL Chairman of the Board is elected by the WHL Board of Governors for a two year term.In that position he is the leader of the WHL Executive Committee and is a member of the CHL Board of Directors.
For Hamilton it s his fifth term in the position. He previously served as WHL board chair from 1998 until 2004 as well as for the past two year term.
