Blue Bombers Add Two, Release One

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed import wide receiver and former Blue Bomber Willie Foster, as well as import defensive lineman Moton Hopkins.

Foster (5-10, 175, Rutgers, DOB: December 13, 1984 in Miami, Florida) appeared in one game with the Blue Bombers in 2007 where he returned five punts for 37 yards and seven kickoffs for 166 yards. He attended the Bombers' training camp in 2008, but was among the team's final cuts. Foster was primarily used as a returner in college, but did make 22 catches for 301 yards and one touchdown in four years with the Scarlet Knights. In 2005, he was named the Big East Conference Special Teams Player of the Year.

Hopkins (6-2, 273, Tulsa, DOB: November 20, 1986 in Universal City, Texas) was a two-time Conference USA second-team selection and finished his career at Tulsa with 216 tackles. He never missed one game with the Hurricane and started his last 37 straight registering 3 sacks in his final year.

The club has also released import wide receiver D.J. Hall.
