SALT LAKE CITY (May 27, 2010) - On Saturday, May 29, the Knothole Club will hold its first player clinic of the season at Spring Mobile Ballpark from 10 a.m. to noon. The official kids club of the Salt Lake Bees will also hold a player clinic for members on Saturday, August 7 from 10 a.m. to noon. For the fourth consecutive season, members will have the chance to participate in baseball drills with Bees players and also receive autographs.

"In just five seasons, we've grown the Knothole Club to an average of over 6,000 kids a year and are pleased to continue providing these Utah youth the opportunity to learn from our players and, most of all, have fun at such a great ballpark," said Salt Lake Bees General Manager Marc Amicone.

Sponsored by Wendy's, Knothole Club memberships cost $12 per season and are available for kids ages 12 and under. Benefits include a ticket voucher to a Salt Lake Bees game, a Salt Lake Bees t-shirt, a membership ID card entitling the holder to $5 discounted Bees tickets and a free frosty from any Wasatch Front Wendy's location. Membership also allows for opportunities to meet Bees players.

Youth baseball organizations have the option of enrolling their entire league in the Knothole Club. Salt Lake Bees t-shirts, jerseys and/or hats can be purchased for use as uniforms at a reduced price.

Individual memberships can be purchased online at www.slbees.com or at Bees home games at Spring Mobile Ballpark. Baseball team memberships can be arranged by contacting Nate Martinez at (801) 325-2573.
