Dodgers' Outfielder Andre Ethier Starts Rehab In Memphis Friday

Andre Ethier, 2009 Silver Slugger, will begin a rehab assignment on Friday, May 28th when the Dodgers Triple-A Affiliate, Albuquerque Isotopes visit the Memphis Redbirds at AutoZone Park. Ethier suffered a fractured little finger on his right hand during batting practice on May 15th. At the time of his injury, Ethier led the league in average (.393), home runs (11) and runs batted in (38).

The Redbirds start a four game homestand Friday, May 28th with fireworks post game presented by Coors Light and Miller Lite. Game starts at 7:05pm. Saturday's game starts at 6:05pm when the Redbirds welcome Star Wars characters from the 501st Mid South Garrison during the game. Sunday's Salute to First Responders game will be followed by fireworks presented by Pickler Companies. Memorial Day Monday will feature an afternoon game starting at 1:05pm with a salute to our Veterans.
