TEXAS HOSTS HAMILTON IN GAME 3 ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 7:30 PM
STARS TRAIL SERIES 2-0
The Stars are heading into Game 3 trailing the series 2-0 after the Bulldogs captured Games 1 and 2 in Hamilton. The next three games of the series will be played at Cedar Park Center. In AHL history, 20 teams have bounced back from a 0-2 deficit to win a best-of-seven series, while five teams have done it in the conference finals. Texas is 4-1 at home in the playoffs, while Hamilton is 3-3 on the road in the postseason.

MANCHESTER HAS CHANCE TO EVEN SERIES IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS TONIGHT
Less than 24 hours after pulling out a dramatic 3-2 overtime win over Hershey, Manchester has the opportunity to tie the Eastern Conference Finals when it hosts the Bears for Game 4 tonight at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The Monarchs faced a 2-0 deficit in the third period of Game 3, but rallied to tie it up, and Justin Azevedo notched the game-winner 2:43 into overtime. With the victory, the Monarchs cut their series deficit to 2-1 heading into Game 4. Monday's victory also guarantees that the series will extend to Game 5 in Manchester on Thursday.
SERIES SUBPLOTS.......
- Hamilton center David Desharnais leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 17 points (7G-10A) in 14 playoff games.
- Defenseman Dan Jancevski (2A) and forward Jamie Benn (2G) each lead Texas in the series with two points each.
- Bulldogs goalie Curtis Sanford has allowed three goals in two games, posting a 1.50 goals against average and a .930 save percentage.
