
D.C. United Waives Midfielder Danny Szetela

Washington, D.C. (March 19, 2010) - D.C. United announced today the club has waived midfielder Danny Szetela. The 24-year old made nine total appearances for the Black-and-Red during the 2009 season.
United acquired Szetela on July 15, 2009 via the allocation process. During his sole season with the Black-and-Red, Szetela made four appearances in League play, earning his only start in the final game of the season at Kansas City on 10/24. He also played in five CONCACAF Champions League games (three starts) during the campaign.
