HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc head coach Randy Murphy announced today that the team has signed veteran defenseman Vladimir Hartinger.
Hartinger (6-0, 200) has played in 424 career games in the CHL and one season in Italy. He has scored 74 goals and recorded 199 assists for 273 career points. He has played in 26 career post-season games and scored two goals and added 15 assists. He was named the CHL Defenseman of the Year and named to the All-CHL team in 2007-08,
The Havoc released forward Chris Myers to made room for Hartinger. Myers had played in 38 games and scored 13 goals and recorded 13 assists.
Hartinger will be in uniform tonight at 7:30 as the Havoc will host the Louisiana Ice Gators on CenturyLink Ice at the Von Braun Center.
