Los Angeles Acquires Rodney Webb

El Segundo, CA- It was announced today that the Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired forward, Rodney Webb. The team has also released Keith Clark due to injury. Clark dislocated his left shoulder last Saturday, February 20 in a match against the Idaho Stampede.

Most recently Webb played three games with the Tulsa 66ers, averaging 2.7 points and 3.0 rebounds. Prior to his time with the 66ers, Webb played 30 games with the Bakersfield Jam, starting in 14 of them. During his stint with the Jam, the Long Beach, California native averaged 8.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.0 block in 24.7 minutes. Webb will join the D-Fenders as they take on the Flash in a rematch, tonight in Provo, Utah.

"I am excited to get Webb. He battles hard and will bring a great deal of energy to our team. I am confident that he will fit well into our system and will be a strong asset to our team," said Head Coach Chucky Brown.
