
Colts Rise To Number One In The Country

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that they are currently ranked as the number one team in all of Canada. The CHL released the top-ten rankings in a press release Wednesday afternoon.
Barrie has spent 19 weeks in the top-ten rankings and had been sandwiched between Windsor in the third spot and Saint John in the top spot. After defeating the Spitfires for the second time this season, Barrie moved past Saint John who has lost two of their last four games and dropped to 48-10-1-0.
The Colts sit at 48-8-0-2 and are one win and six points away from setting club records for most wins and most points in a season.
Barrie hosts Michael Hutchinson and the London Knights Thursday night at the BMC. They play in Oshawa on Friday night before returning home to take on the IceDogs on Saturday night.
