
Coby Karl Returns To Idaho Stampede

BOISE, Idaho, Feb. 15, 2010 - The Idaho Stampede have announced the re-acquisition of guard Coby Karl. Karl was called up to the NBA's Golden State Warriors on January 31st.
A 6-5 guard, Karl played in seven games with the Warriors, averaging 7.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 27 minutes, before being waived on February 9th.
In just five games with the Stampede this season, Karl averages 27.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists. He scored in double-figures in all five games, including scoring a season-high 36 points on two occasions. A two-year member of the Stampede, Karl played 22 games in Boise's Qwest Arena during the 2008-09 season, when he averaged 18.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists.
Karl will join the Stampede this week as they prepare to take on the leaders of the NBA D-League East Conference, the Iowa Energy Friday night in Boise. Tipoff is at 7:00 pm MST. In order to make room for Karl on the roster, Emmanuel Jones was released from the team.
