
Mad Ants Acquire Dickau From Springfield

Fort Wayne, IN (February 15, 2010)-The NBA D-League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that they have acquired Dan Dickau from the Springfield Armor in exchange for Kyle McAlarney. Dickau will join the team tomorrow for their home game against the Reno Bighorns.
Dickau, a 6'1" point guard from Gonzaga University, is coming off of a six year run in the NBA. He was a first round draft pick (28th overall) by the Sacramento Kings in the 2002 NBA Draft. He has had stints on seven different NBA teams, averaging 5.8 points per game throughout his career. Dickau started his collegiate career at the University of Washington before transferring to Gonzaga, where he averaged 21 points per game and was named first team All-American his senior season.
McAlarney has played in all 28 games for the Mad Ants this season. He is currently ranked 6th in the league for 3 point field goal percentage, shooting 48% on the season.
