(Central Islip, N.Y., Feb. 8, 2010) - The Long Island Ducks today announced the dates for their annual youth baseball clinics this summer. Players of all abilities are welcome and interested parties are encouraged to sign up early due to limited availability. Sign up forms are available by visiting www.liducks.com and clicking on the Kids Clinics icon, or by calling (631) 940-3825.

"Our clinics provide kids the opportunity of a lifetime," says Ducks general manager Michael Pfaff. "To learn one-on-one from former baseball greats is a unique and unforgettable experience."

Clinics are open to children between the ages of seven and 14. For just $195, campers get two days of instruction, lunch each day of the camp, an equipment bag and a Ducks Kids Clinic jersey. Just bring your glove and a bat, and be ready to play, rain or shine!

The first clinic session takes place on Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17. Session two will begin on Friday, August 6, and end on Saturday, August 7. Each camp day runs from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., and campers should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. each day.

The Long Island Ducks play their home games at Citibank Park in Central Islip, NY and are entering their 11th season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
