Tulsa, Okla., February 6, 2010 - The Tulsa 66ers announced today that the team has acquired forward Rodney Webb. He fills the roster spot vacated by Chris Richard, who was called-up to the Chicago Bulls yesterday.
The 6-7, 240 pound forward out of Florida Atlantic University played in 25 games for the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League during the 2009-10 season, averaging 8.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 assists per contest.
During his senior season with the Owls in 2005-06, Webb averaged 15.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 28 games.
Since college, Webb has played professionally in the CBA, France and Japan.
Webb will wear jersey number three and is expected to be in uniform for tonight's matchup against the Jam in Bakersfield. Tip off is scheduled for 9 p.m. CST.
