Wildcats Hits Perfect 10 In Quebec!

* The winning streak is now 10 after the Cats enjoyed their most successful road trip of the season taking three straight against top teams in Quebec.

The Wildcats downed a tough Victoriaville team 6-2 on Friday, then won 6-3 against a determined Drummondville Voltigeurs squad on Saturday afternoon and ended the trip with a convincing 5-2 win over the Quebec Remparts on Sunday afternoon.

Three Game Home Stand Coming Up:

* The Victoriaville Tigres will be the opposition on Thursday night. Game sponsor will be the Times&Transcript. It's a ticket redemption night.

* Friday night will feature the Battle of New Brunswick against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. Acklands-Grainger is the game sponsor.

* Next Tuesday night, the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies will be her for the make up game that was cancelled back in November. It's a ticket redemption night and tickets held for the November game by season ticket holders will be honored. Fairmont Hotels and Resorts are the game sponsor.

* The remaining make up game will be played on March 8th against the Montreal Juniors.

* Get ready to rumble in Round 6 of the Rivalry Cup, coming up on February 6th. Watch the Coffee Cup over the next week for details of exciting events as the Cats go all out to extend their Rivalry Cup lead on the Sea Dogs.

Make Moncton A Canadian Monopoly City at Home Games:

The Wildcats want Moncton to be one of the Canadian cities on the new Monopoly board game which will be launched on Canada Day this year. Fans of the Cats will have the chance to add to the thousands of votes already being submitted to support the Hub City. During the next four home games, computers will be set up at Fan Services, Legends Restaurant and in the area near section 7, where fans will be able to access and vote for Moncton at www.monopolyvote.ca . There'll be folks there to help you vote and answer your questions but be sure to vote because the national voting ends on February 7th. Let's make Moncton a winner once again.

Cats Community Calendar:

- If the weather is good, Gabriel Bourque, Daniel Pettersson, Marek Hrivik, Alex Wall, Kirill Kabanov and Tyler Howe will take to the open air ice tonight when they visit the Moncton City hall outdoor rink and the Centennial park skating oval starting at 6:15pm. If the weather doesn't cooperate check the website for the schedule change.

- One of the Wildcats most successful Community Events got underway yesterday. Reading is Wild launched its new season. RBC, and the Times&Transcript are sponsoring the program which runs five weeks at Beaverbrook, West Riverview, Forest Glen and Dorchester elementary schools. Look for the students to pass the half million mark in books read over the history of the program, now in its 12th year. $1,000 in books will go to each school library and the students will be guests of the Wildcats when they play the Halifax Mooseheads on February 28th

- This coming weekend will hold loads of excitement for the Peewee Eagles from Oromocto when they get a chance to spend a days with the Wildcats next Sunday. The Eagles won the Old Dutch Food national championship contest to win the right to spend a day with their favorite CHL teams, the of course picked the Cats. Head Coach Danny Flynn is already preparing for the day when the young hockey players will get tips from the Wildcats coaching staff and players. Part of the Eagles prize is to be guests of the Wildcats at the game on February 19th against Rimouski.

- Friday night will be a special game for the Rallye Motors PeeWee Team, they will be guest of the Wildcats and will represent the Cats, the the world famous, International PeeWee hockey tournament which is always part of the Quebec Winter Carnival which starts next week.

* Support the Troops night is set for February 19th. It's the Wildcats annual Salute to the members of Canada's Armed Forces

* A special ceremony will mark the 100th Anniversary of the Girl Guides during the game against the Shawinigan Cataracts on February 21st.

Congratulations to David Savard of the Wildcats who was picked as the Q's defensive Player of the Week. David had a pair of goals and three assists in the Wildcats three wins on the weekend. He posted a +4 rating and logged extra minutes when Brandon Gormley was injured in Victoriaville on Friday.
