Chesapeake Baysox News Release
BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today that individual game ticket prices will not change in 2010. This is the fourth consecutive year ticket prices have remained frozen, and the most expensive tickets are actually cheaper than they were during the 2005-2006 seasons. This year tickets range from $6 to $14 and parking at Prince George's Stadium is free for all Baysox home games.
Lower reserved seat tickets are $14 for all fans and upper reserved seat tickets are $11 for adults and $9 for youth ages 3-12, senior citizens ages 60 and up and active members of the military with valid identification. Prices have not changed since upper reserved seating was installed prior to the 2007 campaign. In 2005 and 2006, field box seats were $15.
General admission seats remain $9 for adults and $6 for youth, senior citizens ages 60 and up and active members of the military with valid identification. General admission seat tickets have not changed since the 2003 season.
Baysox General Manager Brian Shallcross values feedback and is available to talk to fans during every Baysox home game. "One of the core principles of Minor League Baseball is to provide quality family entertainment at an affordable price," he said. "We have once again decided not to raise our gate ticket prices for 2010. I guarantee that any fan who comes to even a single game will love the entertainment value. If you disagree, come talk to me."
Baysox individual game tickets go on sale in March.
Think Outside The Box with the Baysox in 2010. The Baysox open their 18th season as the class Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles at Prince George's Stadium on Thursday, April 8, at 7:05 p.m. against the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Baysox full-season and partial-season ticket packages are available now at www.baysox.com or by calling the group sales department at (301) 464-4880.
