Here are the Black Hawks' Players of the Week as selected by the coaches and staff and posted on waterlooblackhawks.com each Monday:
Mulligan's Offensive Player of the Week - Tyler Barnes
Barnes was the only Black Hawk to notch a point in each game during the weekend, finishing with three goals, three assists, and a +1 rating.
Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week - Blake Thompson
Thompson earned Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week honors for being steady defensively and finishing the weekend +3, tops among Black Hawks' defensemen.
UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker - Tyler Zepeda
Zepeda returned to the lineup and was a big contributor to the Hawks penalty-killing efforts, helping Waterloo to allow only one power play goal in 16 shorthanded situations.
