Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Moncton Wildcats scored their first goal at the 19 second mark of the opening period and went on to dominate the Halifax Mooseheads 10-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Metro Centre.
The Cats led 5-0 after period one, 7-1 after two periods of play and scored a trio of markers in the final 20 minutes for the final 10-1 count. It was a game that featured two penalty shots. The Mooseheads only goal came in the second period on a penalty shot call after the Wildcats had scored on a similar play in the opening period.

Shots on goal were 40-21 in Moncton's favor.
The Wildcats travel to Bathurst on Tuesday for a 7 o'clock game with the Titan and return home for round 4 of the Rivalry Cup, Thursday night at 7 at the Coliseum.
