Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Gavin Morgan has been returned to the Royals from the Hershey Bears of the AHL. Morgan has been loaned to the Bears on three separate occasions by the Royals this season-most recently on November 24. Overall, Morgan has played thirteen games for Hershey, scoring one goal, assisting on another and registering twenty penalty minutes. With the Royals this year, Morgan, who serves as Reading's captain, has picked up nine assist and twelve penalty minutes.
The Royals complete a five game road trip tonight (Wednesday, December 16 @ 7:05 pm) against the Johnstown Chiefs at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, where the Royals are winless in their last ten consecutive games (0-8-2). The Royals game night broadcast for Wednesday night's game on the Royals Radio Network Presented by Transmissions by Arbogast kicks off at 6:35 pm.
