North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays cross sticks with the Charlotte Checkers tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena. Tonight is the fifth of eleven scheduled meetings between the two teams this season and the second of five consecutive. The Stingrays come into tonight's contest on an ECHL-best ten-game winning streak.
The Stingrays head to Charlotte Friday, December 18 to battle the Checkers at 7:00 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena for game three of this regular season mini series. The Stingrays return to North Charleston Coliseum Saturday, December 19 against the Charlotte Checkers at 7:05 p.m. Saturday is Tailgate Saturday with the Rays! Getting Tricky Stingrays rookie Nikita Kashirsky recorded his first professional hat trick Sunday against the Checkers in a 4-0 victory. The forward from Russia currently stands tied for second on the team with 26 points including five game-winning goals.
Stingrays 6-Pack Lead the Way Stingrays forwards Nikita Kashirsky, Gregg Johnson, Keith Johnson, Jake Hauswirth, Matt Fornataro and Rob Ricci have combined for 66 points (26g, 40a) during the ten-game winning streak.
