International Students at tonight's game:

26 countries will be represented at tonight's game against the Halifax Mooseheads. District 2 Community Schools will have a welcome to Moncton reception and host the students from around the world at the game. It will be a special night for the visitors, for many of them; their first chance to see a hockey game.

A special feature tonight will be the District 2 Youth Choir singing our National Anthem.

There'll also be a salute to the World when fans get a look at the Mascot for the International Track and Field games to take place in our city in just over seven months will be unveiled tonight. The new Mascot will appear in a special pre-game centre ice ceremony.

Rivalry Cup - Round 4 - New Year's Eve:

There's just a one point margin in the Rivalry Cup race now and the Wildcats are preparing to take the lead when they face the Saint John Sea Dogs at the Coliseum on New Year's Eve night at 7 o'clock. After picking up two points for the big win on Sunday afternoon and a half point for having 70 percent of capacity at the Coliseum, next Thursday's game will have a lot on the line. The Sea Dogs have 5.5 points, the Wildcats 4.5. The Mascot Challenge will highlight the game and we're certain Wild Willie will come out a winner. The food drive competition will be part of the next two games between the Cats and Dogs, with five points being awarded to the team collecting the largest amount of non-perishable food items.

Legends closed tonight:

Legends Restaurant will closed for tonight's game but fans can still enjoy beverage refreshment in the down stairs lounge beginning two hours before game time.

Congratulations to the Riverview Royals Girls basketball team winners, for the second straight year, of the Irving Hoop Classic played at the Coliseum and to Josee Cormier, tournament MVP and her Clement Cormier High School Cavaliers who won the Universite de Moncton High School Hockey Classic over the weekend.
