SAINT JOHN, NB --- The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today that Saint John Sea Dogs forward Mike Hoffman has been named the TELUS Offensive Player of the Month for November. It was also announced today that Sea Dogs import winger Stanislav Galiev has been named the league's TELUS Rookie of the Month.

In ten games played in November, Hoffman recorded 10G-10A-20P in addition to a rating of +15. Saint John went 10-0-0-0 in November, with Hoffman netting four game-winning goals. The Ottawa Senators prospect has registered 19GP-17G-11A-28P thus far on his overage major junior campaign.

Galiev appeared in nine games last month, tallying 3G-9A-12P to move into a tie for first place on the QMJHL's rookie scoring list. The Russian-born forward has contributed 29GP-8G-21A-29P for the 25-4-1-0 Sea Dogs this year.

Victoriaville Tigres goaltender Kevin Poulin was named the TELUS Defensive Player of the Month today, with Sea Dogs net minder Marc-Antoine Gélinas being strongly considered for the award.

Currently on a franchise-record 17-game winning streak, the Sea Dogs visit the Charlottetown Civic Centre tomorrow night at 7pm for a mid-week tilt with the P.E.I. Rocket. Saint John's next home game will be played on Saturday, December 5 at 7pm versus the Gatineau Olympiques.
