SPRINGFIELD, Mass.... The American Hockey League announced today that Binghamton Senators left wing Josh Hennessy has been named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 29, 2009. Hennessy recorded four goals, three assists and a plus-9 rating in three games last week.
On Thursday evening, Hennessy scored twice, chipped in an assist and was a plus-4 in Binghamton's 7-0 rout of Adirondack at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. He recorded his 100th career AHL goal and added an assist in Friday's 5-4 loss at Toronto, and came back with another goal and an assist on Saturday as the Senators defeated league-leading Rochester, 5-0.
