Indians Release 2010 Schedule

November 18, 2009 - Northwest League (NWL) Spokane Indians

SPOKANE, WA - The Spokane Indians will begin their quest for the Northwest League Championship on June 18, 2010, when they open the regular season at Avista Stadium with a three-game home stand against the Tri-City Dust Devils. The Indians will play their last regular season home game on August 30th against the Boise Hawks.

The Indians season will once again be highlighted with six Fireworks shows, four Yoke's $1 Family Feast Nights and a full line-up of family friendly promotions. A full promotional calendar for the 2010 season will be released in the spring.

Spokane will play 76 regular season games; 38 games at Avista Stadium and 38 on the road. The complete schedule can be viewed at www.spokaneindiansbaseball.com.

The Spokane Indians finished the 2009 season with a 37-39 record, finishing second in the Northwest League East. The Indians once again led the Northwest League in attendance with a total of 174,941 fans attending games, for an average of 4,604 on lookers per game. 2009 marks the 10th season in a row the Indians have led the NWL in attendance.

Manager Tim Hulett will return for his fourth season with the Indians, along with every member of his 2009 staff including his pitching coach, former Spokane Indians player and MLB All-Star Justin Thompson.
