COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Monday, November 9, 2009) - Colorado Rapids forwards Conor Casey and Omar Cummings have both been called in by their respective national teams for international play.U.S. Men's National Team head coach Bob Bradley has named Casey to his 22-man roster that will train in advance of the match against 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers Slovakia on November 14 in Bratislava.
Casey has 15 career caps with the National Team and scored his first two international goals in the U.S.'s 2010 World Cup qualifying win against Honduras on October 10 that clinched a trip to South Africa for the Americans.
Cummings has been called up by the Jamaican National Team for their international friendly against World Cup hosts South Africa in Bloemfontein on November 17.
The Bodles Crescent, Jamaica native has nine career caps with the Reggae Boyz after making his international debut in July of 2008. He has scored two goals in international competition, including Jamaica's only goal in a 1-0 win over El Salvador on July 10, 2009 in the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
