Jimmy Fraser Returned To Reading

November 4, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL) Reading Royals

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Jimmy Fraser has been returned to the Royals from the Providence Bruins of the AHL. In separate transactions also announced today, goaltender Andrew Engelage was assigned to Reading by the Marlies; and goaltender Kevin Regan was recalled by Providence.

Fraser, a first year pro who has one assist in six games with the Royals, was loaned to Providence on October 30 and played three games with the Bruins. Engelage, a first year pro who is yet to play for the Royals, started and allowed five goals on fourteen shots in forty minutes in the Marlies 5-2 loss to the Rochester Americans on October 16, 2009. Regan, a second year pro, has played six games for the Royals this year, compiling a record of 2-2-1-1 with a 3.76 goals against average and a.896 save percentage.

The Royals are off until Saturday (November 7, 2009 @ 7:05) when the defending Kelly Cup Champion South Carolina Stingrays visit the Sovereign Center.
