
Cats Add Two More To Practice Roster

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team had added import receiver Airese Currie and import linebacker Spenser Smith to the practice roster.
Currie, a 5-11, 185-pound native of Columbia, South Carolina caught 12 passes for 171 yards in six games with the Ticats this season before he was released on October 10. Currie also returned two kickoffs for 31 yards and seven punts for 40 yards.
Smith, a 6-2, 240-pound native of Detroit, Michigan attended training camp with the NFL's Detroit Lions earlier this year after a four year collegiate career at Eastern Michigan. Smith recorded 83 tackles and three quarterback sacks with the Eagles.
