Stamps Face Lions On Saturday

The Calgary Stampeders will travel to Vancouver to take on the BC Lions on Saturday, Oct. 31. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. (MT) at BC Place.

The Stamps defeated the Edmonton Eskimos 30-7 last Friday in their final regular-season home game of the 2009 Canadian Football League season. Calgary now has a 9-6-1 record and is tied for top spot in the West Division with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The Stamps are 3-4 on the road this season and 5-2-1 against West Division opponents.

The Lions' last game was a visit to Regina on Oct. 24, which resulted in a 33-30 overtime loss to the Roughriders. BC is 8-8 and third in the West Division. The Lions are 4-3 at home in 2009 and 4-4 against divisional opposition.

This is the third and final regular-season meeting between the Stamps and Lions in 2009. Calgary defeated BC 48-10 in Vancouver on July 24 and won 27-18 in Calgary on Sept. 25.
