Sioux Falls, S.D. (October 7, 2009) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today the hiring of Kyle Kapitan as Business Development Executive. In his position he will pursue new season ticket holders, sponsors and groups.
Originally from Eden Prairie, Minn., Kapitan graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in December of 2005 with degrees in Sport Management and Marketing. He joins the Skyforce after serving as a Business Development Representative with the Minnesota Timberwolves for two seasons. He earned a full-time position with the Timberwolves following a successful stint as a ticket sales intern during the 2006-07 season.
"Kyle's invaluable experience with the Timberwolves will provide a very important boost to our office," said Skyforce owner/president Mike Heineman. "We are fortunate to add someone like Kyle to our already experienced staff."
Season tickets and 12-ticket flex packs are on sale for the 2009-10 season. Discounts and benefits are also available for groups of 10 or more. Single game tickets will go on sale on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. The home opener is set for Friday, Nov. 27 against the expansion Maine Red Claws.
