TAYLOR NAMED CAPTAIN: The London Knights have named 20 year old Justin Taylor as captain of the 2009-2010 London Knights... Taylor, 20 is entering his 4th season in the OHL...He attended the Vancouver Canucks Training Camp in 2009.

KNIGHTS SHINE IN BIG APPLE; Former London Knights Michael Del Zotto and John Tavares both scored their 1st NHL goals on Saturday, October 3, 2009....Del Zotto, 19 scored the eventual game winning goal on Saturday, October 3, 2009 when his New York Rangers defeated the Ottawa Senators 5-2....Tavares, 19 had 1 goal and 1 assist in the Islanders 4-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins....

TARASUK SCORES WINNER: London Knights Defenceman Steve Tarasuk scored at 3:53 of Overtime to lead the London Knights to a 5-4 OT win over the Erie Otters...Tarasuk, 19 leads the Knights in scoring with 3 goals and 4 assists so far this season...

GRIFFITH NETS HIS FIRST: Rookie Forward Seth Griffith scored his 1st goal in the Ontario Hockey League on Saturday, October 3, 2009 when he was called up to travel to Erie to face the Otters....Griffith, 16 was the Knights 4th Round Pick in the 2009 OHL Draft...He is a native of Wallaceburg, Ontario

DOUBLE DUTY FOR MCNEILL: London Knights Defenceman has seen lots of icetime this year as he has split his season between the London Knights and London Nationals... McNeill, 17 was signed by the London Knights in September 2009....He is a native of London, Ontario and attends Lucas Secondary School...

D'ORAZIO FACES ATTACK: London Knights defenceman Michael D'Orazio faced his old team the Owen Sound Attack for the first time on Friday, October 2, 2009...D'Orazio has 1 goal and 2 assists in 5 games since joining the Knights in a September 2009 trade with the Attack for Jason Wilson.
